Berry Blue Eyes has developed a musical career when he opened up a bar at New Eden. He was a well known artist and gained a modest status of celebrity at many locations. Eventually he choose a career as a merchantman, roaming the galaxy with his best banu friend Jack. On occasion Berry would pick up the mic every now and then and started singing. Especially at times where alcohol was involved. There was one memorable moment in time, at an undisclosed location, involving big gamblers at a secret gambling event where his singing saved many lives! Hitting a high note no-one expected and betted on he couldn't! if he lost, the gamblers would have gone bezerk and killed all attendees at the secret gambling party.
But unexpectedly Berry was able to hit the high note and break a glass doing so. He won the bet, and every-one lived!

From this moment on, whenever the captain and Jack arrive at an outpost or a distant moon, the habitants call him: The singing Merchantman! 

Berry still likes to sing whenever he can!
